I think NASA should not send a student into space. This could cause dammage to the student's health which would not be good to the student and their family. Also, it would be extremely difficult to choose a student to send up to space. If a student were to go into space, there really wouldn't be much for them to do. For that reason, they would mostly take up room. In my opinion, it would be a better descision to send trained astronauts into space, who could help to make the mission succesful.

In the case of NASA deciding to send a student into space, I think the student should be selected based on their academic acheivements. I think the selections should be made by having a standardized test for students to take. The test should be given to students everywhere. I think this test should be pertaining to space and astromonmy. By doing this, NASA would be able to pick out the students with the highest test scores and from those people, make a descision on who the most qualified student would be to go into space. My choice of how to decide who would go into space would be to use a test like this to see how much students know about space and science.
